Security is a very touchie subject in sectional title. The sectional titles act will state that the owner is responsible to secure their section. It does not mean that the owner can just do what they please. If they have a security concern, they need to discuss this with the trustees and before they secure their unit, they need to communicate this to the body corporate / trustees and ask them what they can and/or cannot do. Sectional title schemes normally have a design or "look" you would need to follow or conform to when securing your section. If the vehicle gate or the electric fencing is faulty that serves the scheme, the body corporate is responsible to repair it.
